Remnant 2 annihilation
After spending much Remnant 2 annihilation 2's story campaign hunting down all three mysterious objects for Clementine and the Keeper, players will eventually find themselves squaring off against the avatar of the Root—a hulking, wooden dragon aptly named Annihilation. This monstrosity is the pinnacle of the game's challenges, and it can be very tough to beat the first time around. Annihilation is as deadly as it is intimidating. Its attacks are frantic, and many players may have trouble keeping up with its pace, remnant 2 annihilation.
Annihilation is the final boss of Remnant 2 and the Root corruption's source. As the physical embodiment of the Root, Annihilation is the toughest boss fight you'll encounter in the game. Found at the end of Root Earth , this boss fight has three distinct phases—each starting after you deplete his health bar entirely. Annihilation will spawn from the hole in the center; however, he will fly in from the back of the arena after the first time. The following moves he will do after spawning will always have the same pattern every time, so try to remember the timing for its attacks, and you should be fine for the first half of its health. Once you get rid of his health bar, there will be a short cutscene before the second phase starts. Annihilation's second phase will start in a completely different arena.

Annihilation is a Boss in Remnant 2. Annihilation is the final boss of the game, and provides a massive and long challenge to players. It can be found at the Blackened Citadel, in Root Earth. Bosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or "Elite" Enemies. They are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game. At the beginning, it flies around the battlefield, uses its massive sword-like weapon to deal damage. Annihilation also affects the battlefield, using many AOE attacks and creating energy beams that persist on the field, dealing damage if players come into contact with them. Annihilation has a lot of attacks and flies constantly around the battlefield. Beware of its Impalement attack because it may entangle you, leaving players unable to move for a few seconds, until you manage to free yourself. Note that energy beams will constantly drop onto the ground, forcing players to be aware of their surroundings and moving around as much as possible. After you manage to deplete its health bar, Annihilation will enter its second phase, by "opening" his head and revealing what controls it. During the second phase, Annihilation will recover all its health and even the battlefield will change into a futuristic landscape, with red neon colors. Annihilation will stay on the same place during parts of the fight, moving little from its position at the far end of the screen, just to perform attacks. After taking enough damage, the battlefield will switch between the one on the first phase and the latter one, granting Annihilation an even wider moveset. Six tendrils will appear on the ground, three on one side and three on the other one.
Phase 2 Attack Description Sword Swipe Annihilation moves to one side of the arena and prepares to sweep the floor with its sword.
You might have fought against a bunch of bosses in Remnant 2 , but there's nothing quite like Annihilation. After beating four areas and their bosses, you'll reach the Root Earth area that looks just like Earth, except it's deeply corrupted. At the end of this area, you'll battle Annihilation alongside Clementine. Annihilation is the only boss in the game that regenerates its health fully when you defeat it first. Moreover, if you're defeated during the second phase after it regenerates its health, you'll have to start the battle from the first phase all over again. When you reach the third area of Root Earth, you'll see a giant tree but its entrance will be blocked with a red barrier. Clementine will break this barrier whenever you're ready , and you'll enter battle with Annihilation.

Phase 2 Attack Description Sword Swipe Annihilation moves to one side of the arena and prepares to sweep the floor with its sword. During the second phase, Annihilation will recover all its health and even the battlefield will change into a futuristic landscape, with red neon colors. Pretty sure you can't use relic while still in blight. Annihilation slams the ground and a blight pool appears on your location. Annihilation conjures 3 sets of balls, that attacks the player after several seconds. Annihilation's third phase does not have a health bar, but he will summon a horde of his minions to attack you. Apocalypse is the way to play. Once the vulnerable state ends, the boss continues to switch between the phases. This boss is best fought solo under any circumstance. The tentacles in the boss arena will slam toward an indicated direction. When the boss takes the blade from the right side to the left , some ammo will spawn on the field when the attack ends. I think the concept of "phasing" would be a recipe for disaster, but I am surprised by how well executed it is here. A clunky fix is to switch guns and use the mods on both guns.

Shitty final boss, the arena and screen flashing is just awful. Random ass boss with a miserable color palate. Not a bad boss, annoying sure and confusing until you realize exactly what's happening and that last little bit after the cutscene where the game tries to kill you with grunts just to ruin your run was unnecessary. The orbs will also simultaneously spawn on the dragon side as well, but these won't put it into the vulnerable state. What did "Data Corruption" blight actually do? Moreover, the boss also gives you the Forgotten Memory material and unlocks a new trait called Scholar. Repeat the fight enough times and players will eventually get the boss' attack timings down—the important thing here is to memorize its moves consciously instead of panicking. Biggest issue with the final boss tbh is that the ending kinda sucks, no spoilers but for a game with so many choices and alternate paths getting shoe horned into how it ends is kinda lame. I really don't get the hate for this boss. In this attack, Annihilation holds its sword with both hands and sticks it into the ground, producing a circular tremor that quickly expands all over the battlefield and deals a lot of damage.
