The Maytag corporation has been producing ovens and other appliances for more than years. Now a division of Whirlpool, Maytag still continues to produce quality ovens. Many Maytag ovens feature a self-cleaning mode, which significantly reduces the time and effort necessary to clean the interior of the oven. However, the self-cleaning mode is not perfect, and the indoor of the oven must be periodically hand cleaned. Doing so is much easier if the door is first removed. Locate the two door latches on the interior side of the door.
