May have to try the new PR3 soon. Scott oiler on the Strom seems to work ok bit messy. Shafts rock! Andrew me ol' mate! I reckon the Michelin 90X tyres I had on my Blackbird from new would have lasted almost forever but they were rock hard and absolute crap.

View Full Version : Greasing door hinges. Hi Guys, What do people on here use to grease their door hinges? I'm assuming that I need to use white lithium grease but I can only find it in a spray can. Is this what I should be using or is there a paste that's better to use? Thanks guys. Awesome, thanks Mick. Any particular brand you prefer to use?

I owned my first motorcycle in high school, and back then I knew nothing about regular maintenance of my two-wheeled transportation. Lesson learned. Now I know well that motorcycle chains require a little love and care. Lubricating and keeping your motorcycle chain clean prevents corrosion, reduces wear on interacting components by reducing heat and friction for the chain and sprockets, and enables a smoother and quieter ride. Most motorcycle manufacturers and chain suppliers recommend cleaning the chain on road bikes every miles. It is important to know what kind of chain you are running on your motorcycle.

Now the door hinges are another issue before everyone says they come out with grease which I know as a mechanic however, the hinge should be Penetrating oil first, then a week later engine oil, we need to get the oil into the hinge bush or it won't lubricate it. This non-tacky film effectively minimizes the collection of abrasive road dust, mud, salt or other particles. Also to mention on Avon tyres, during manufacture Avon use a water based mould release agent instead of the silicone used by most of the others so less scuffing in. So it is a quality frame The stock groupset is Exage, so replacement brake hoods options: 1. Didnt give it much consideration when taking the tyre off but when i did the tyre was that loose on the rim that i didnt need levers to get it off, just used my fingers to get it off and back on so im thinking the tyre is stuffed. I do a lot of two up touring so my rear seems to get pretty knackerd at around kms mark, The new suspension is helping though. Last edited by CoffsGal on Wed Mar 02, am, edited 1 time in total. Dumb question before I take the door trims off I swopped front to back at around 25, miles to equalise wear and that's it! Might be easier to change complete brake levers. ADV Sponsors. Stuff like Shimano is brilliant and you can pick it up for next to nothing if you need derailleurs, shifters, brakes or levers. Small but not good.
Instead of criticising write the variants.
