Chariot Requiem resembles a man clouded in darkness. It is a very dangerous Stand due to its ability to control souls on a massive scale. It is the evolved form of Silver Chariot after being pierced by the Arrow. Aside from Gold Experience , it is the only other Stand known to have a Requiem form. Chariot Requiem was permanently formed when Diavolo killed Polnareff in Rome, Italy, before the remaining members of Bucciarati's gang could reach him. Before Polnareff's physical death, he stabbed Silver Chariot with the arrow with the intent of never letting Diavolo obtain the arrow. This could be because players feel more used to it, since that's how it had been for a long time since it was added. In the early days, Chariot Requiem was seen as a low damage, patience rewarding stance, as Helping Hand used to heal, along with the ability to pose in Your Own Shadow, and generally having much shorter cooldowns. These, combined with the ability to use Pilot and Barrage while in stun to make an unpunishable barrage made it an incredibly defensive powerhouse, but as the stand got nerfed and more powerful stands got added, the stand slowly fell out of favour for D4C: Love Train , The World Over Heaven , and other newer "powercreep" stands. Conqueror's Will is a very good move to use, and unlike time stop, there is no way to resist the stun. The after-effects are also powerful, as the opponents' hitbox gets bigger in size, which leads to moves being able to hit their target more accurately. Chariot Requiem's main appeal compared to other Requiem Stands is its viability within the Steel Ball Run gamemode, due to Conqueror's Will, which allows the user to put everyone within a radius to sleep for a period of time. This gives the user a moment to kill people while they are immobile. Pilot Mode also allows for combat with the Stand user being a safe distance away. Chariot takes the form of man wearing an old 17th century Musketeer hat and wide boots, alongside shoulder armor and a belt with what appears to be Shark teeth. This is very hard to determine, due to it taking the form of a silhouette rather than an actual being. Although it does hold some facial features, they are shown briefly and are hard to see.
