We were welcomed by a very friendly barman who served our drinks and told us to sit anywhere we liked. He came with the menus 10 seconds later and we were spoilt for choice. The main menu was fantastic and there was also a specials My husband settled for pie of the day and I had the lamb casserole, which came with vegetables and a jacket potato. Other choices of potato were available. Also salad. The pie was a proper pie, encased in pastry, not a microwaved one with a floating lid! The lamb came in a large bowl and was delicious.
