The place is small but comfortable. Their specialty is more a take out place. The service was OK. The server was overwhelmed by the number of people dining in. Good food, service. Lotsa st. Today, I stopped in Sal's and as soon as I hit door the authentic aromas of the Italian spices filled the air. There had been so many items to choose from , but I wanted to try their pizza. I'm glad I did. We ended up getting a Silician Pie with Meatball topping. From the fresh mozzarella, to the sauce, all the way to the homemade dough was superb.
