Not a big place, but very welcoming. All Covid precautions were taken and we were shown to out table. An extensive choice of drinks - especially ciders. Great arrangement! Had never visited Watchet before, let alone 'Pebbles' but we'll certainly be back. The town itself is lovely and definitely quieter than its more famous neighbours along the coast and 'The Pebbles Tavern' is a gem in its heart. Its certainly 'quirky'. In fact from Having quenched our thirst we then took up the recommendations of fish and chips from next door and sandwiches and scotch eggs from Sam's Deli in the adjoining street. All excellent!

Despite the fact we were a large group and that there were other customers in the restaurant, we were served without delay. Chives Cafe. We took a medium box and tried all 5 of them, great seasoning and top ingredients. The staff is friendly and provides exceptional service. With two visits over the weekend, it became evident that the staff is incredibly welcoming and the pasties are superbly delicious. There are some nice walks and some nice pubs within walking distance. Self-catering accommodation. We loved them so much that we went back a few days later to get more as a snack as we watched Dirty Dancing at the open air cinema at the Marina. Try it on Wanderlog. My Fowey River mussels linguine was divine. Avoid if you want a nice takeaway. Came across this fabulous dog friendly pub.

From the patatas bravas to chicken with cider sauce, each bite was a delight. With two visits over the weekend, it became evident that the staff is incredibly welcoming and the pasties are superbly delicious. Good range of food on the menu. The facilities are clean and modern.
