It is the eighth installment in the Fire Emblem series , the second installment to be released internationally, and the third and final installment released for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the world of Magvel , which has not appeared in any other titles, and holds the distinction of having an entirely unique cast. It stars Eirika and Ephraim , twin heirs to the kingdom of Renais , as they combat the sudden aggression of their southern neighbour Grado and investigate the dark forces that have caused their former ally to so swiftly turn on them and the rest of the continent. Each game in the series includes numerous playable characters, each with their own backstories and personalities. The series features permanent death, meaning that any character, save the Lord character s , will be gone for good if they fall in battle. Intelligent Systems had been founded as a company invested in producing video game development tools; the company began to work on simulation games, starting with the first game of the Wars series, Famicom Wars , which has gameplay slightly similar to the Fire Emblem series.

Of course, this game is still unannounced, so we won't know if they are real until we get an official look, but the screenshots do confirm the "strange red and blue" hair that Rogers mentioned on Famiboards yesterday. We won't include the screenshots here, but miasmadelta has linked to them in the below Reddit post.
