Not to sure if it will last. Drewton , Sep 22, Plenty of wd every month it might last. I've used internal locks outside. Depends on exposure to the weather and if you remember to oil. Wayners , Sep 22, I put an ERA, "yale" type lock on my outside gate in Mine is lockable from both sides. They're guaranteed for life and made by an Australian company. They work flawlessly and I have yet to even need to squirt oil into the keyhole. Mine is used several times a day to get bikes in and out of the back garden.
