Rust's monthly update comes with new weather events, new textures, and much more. From managing the radioactive environment to choosing the best attack tactics, here's how to defeat Rust's Bradley APC for its valuable loot. Rust's keycard system is quite complicated. Here's how to find green, blue, and red keycards, and what each type does. A new patch is now live for the Xbox and PlayStation edition of Rust. The monthly server wipe will take place later today for all console players. The final Thursday of the month comes with a new update and server wipe!

Patch 1. Fight other teams for control of the new Military Tunnels monument. This patch also includes general gameplay fixes, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes. Airfield runway and Outpost train tracks are no longer above ground. Players no longer get culled randomly when at a monument. Patch Notes 1. Feb 29 Written By Pedro Silva. Other players can find you, kill you, and take your stuff. Fortunately for you, you can kill others and take their stuff. The environment is not kind. Wild animals will chase and kill you. Being exposed to radiation for an extended period will kill you.

One of the major highlights of this update is the introduction of electricity. This new feature will provide power to your base components and incorporating it brings numerous benefits, greatly enhancing your base-building potential. For instance, you can do something simple like installing a heartbeat sensor outside of your base connected to an alarm system to get an alert anytime someone tries to camp you, or or you can do something way more complex and create a trap base! The possibilities are endless, and the system is designed to be as complex as you wanted it to be, giving you a lot more freedom on how you decide to survive on the island.

Welcome to another Dev Blog! Scheduled for release on the 29th of February, alongside the monthly wipe , this update brings a plethora of new features that promise to enhance your RUST experience. From fresh monuments to explore to an arsenal of new weapons, and a host of immersive gameplay enhancements, let's take a closer look at what's in store with this update! Military Tunnels will be a tough one, survivors. Lots of players will be fighting over it, and scientists will be patrolling around. Despite most of this monument being underground, the area that it covers is still massive, giving room to plenty of awesome fire fights! Inside, there's a puzzle room waiting to be unlocked. To crack it, you'll need a green keycard, a blue keycard, a red keycard, and an electric fuse. Oh and don't forget your hazmat suit as some areas are radioactive! Why bother?
