I would spend the extra on Milwaukee, but again the cost is prohibitive for homeowner use. At ryobi one saw work we still have some of the old 12v Makita impact drivers that used the torpedo batteries. Get a DeWalt Makita, Milwaukee etc and it'll basically outlast you.
