Does anyone have any recommendations for where to donate old clothes so they will go to good use and not be sold for profit? See more…. Good place to donate clothes, plus other items. I have a lot of clothes that need to be donated somewhere. For a small amount of clothes I would normally just find a drop bin and leave them there, but this is probably going to be several car-loads and I would like to do the right thing, find somewhere that will use them or the proceeds from selling them in a good way. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm also going to have a lot of various unopened household supplies - as a random example I have an unopened barbecue lighter.

Open until PM. I love Savers for donating and shopping. This place has a lot of good varieties and deals but as of lately the price has gone way up. A lot of used or donated clothes cost more than your local Marshals or Kohls. A pair of jeans can go I didn't really find what I was looking for but they have a lot of toys. I was a bit disappointed I didn't find what I was looking for but the staff that day were nice when we went to self I used to like savers years ago. Decent variety and clean well organized store, however you will not find any "deals" here. I was in utter shock as I started to look at the prices, and also heard I used to be a huge fan of the Savers store in Plaistow. I have donated carloads of good used furniture, clothing and household appliances to this store over the years. Whomever they have doing So I finally made it over to Heavenly Deals. Its a store that is only open on Saturdays so it was hard for me to get there on a free Saturday.
