One of the funniest characters in "Finding Dory" is Gerald, the hapless sea lion. Throughout the movie, he tries to scheme his way onto a rock with fellow sea lions Fluke and Rudder. Gerald looks different than the other sea seal from finding dory.

A running gag is when Gerald comes up on their rock, both of them bark, "Off! Fluke and Rudder first appear when Marlin and Nemo accidentally wake them up from their nap on their rock. Director Andrew Stanton was looking for a unusual way to voice his sea lion characters in Pixar's Finding Dory. He couldn't shake the thought of making them Guy Ritchie-type East London gangster sea lions. Stanton couldn't really explain the impulse.
