Second Chance is an American science fiction crime drama television series created by Rand Ravich. On May 12,Fox cancelled the series after one season. The series follows the life of Jimmy Pritchard, a year-old former King County, Washington sheriff Philip Baker Hall who was morally corrupt and eventually disgraced and forced to retire.

A Suitable Doner centers on a disgraced, year-old ex-sheriff, whose life ends at the hands of corrupt cops, but then is brought back to life — by a pair of young tech scientists — and given a second chance as a year-old with unpredictable near-superhuman abilities. Due to the power surge that Mary and Otto caused in bringing Pritchard back to life, two notorious murderers escape from prison. Pritchard tries to prove to Duval that he was a better police officer and man than his son ever knew. Meanwhile, he and Duval go up against a deadly psycho and another father-son duo that is out to cause trouble. A case from the past comes back into play as Pritchard and Duval investigate a series of murders involving young prodigies. As the investigation unravels, Duval comes to terms with the possibility that Pritchard could be his father reincarnated.
