While the Genesis was bit, the 32X addition would allow gamers to play new titles that were bit, meaning they had better graphics and smoother gameplay. Because of this, developers focused on Saturn games instead of 32X titles, giving the peripheral a pathetically small game library of just 40 titles. The Pico was launched in and was an "edutainment" console for children. At the time, the Pico's technology was quite impressive. It looked like a laptop but hooked up to a TV and came with an attached stylus that could be used to interact with the games and even draw on the console's gamepad, producing an image on the screen.
