This is iteration 3, and by far, the best tentacle model I've put together to date. This download also comes with the Liara quadruple-penetration animation that I teased click here to see it as a sample session , so you can see an example of how I animate the tentacles. Feel free to use it as you please. I considered removing it, but decided to keep it. It's not hurting anything. I highly recommend you try it. It's not perfect, but the Source engine only allows flexes to move vertices in straight lines, so it's the best I could do without pulling some really crazy shit. However, it does affect the fidelity of other flexes. It is highly recommended you apply a scale to rootTransform and get as much of the size as you can that way, so the other flexes still behave correctly. It's not a perfect way to change the color of the bottom part of the tentacles, but it's a good skill to learn for those just starting out with SFM. Below we have a modified Octoling who almost looks like a "floppy" Octoling or an Agent 8-type Octoling. Right click on the model and go to "Show in Element Viewer" and then click on "Model".
