A warto, bo cel jest szczytny. Ale do tego dojdziemy później. Dlaczego gracie w gry? Ja na przykład gram bo lubię uczucie gratyfikacji płynące czy to z wygranej, czy to z pokonywania coraz to wyższych poziomów trudności, które kiedyś sprawiały mi problem. Inni będą grać żeby po prostu się rozerwać, czy zabawić się wspólnie ze znajomymi z drugiego końca świata. A są tacy, którzy grają, żeby ukończyć grę jak najszybciej. I w dużym uproszczeniu tym właśnie jest speedrunning. Nieograniczonym przez platformę czy gatunek produkcji wielkim wyścigiem społeczności danej gry, w którym wszystkie triki są dozwolone- w imię szybkości.
