Despite the vast superhero multiverses that have taken over Hollywood, and only continue to grow, HBO's forgotten s superhero series is still one of the best. Spawn was first originated in by Image Comics. Simmons is sent to Hell and makes a deal with a demon so that he can see his wife again. Unfortunately, Simmons is tricked. He becomes a Hellspawn, or Spawn, a solider in the demon's army, and when he returns to earth, he has been dead for five years, leaving his body in a state of decay.
