Silversea cruise reviews
Review for a Africa Cruise on Silver Spirit.
This month Silversea Cruises invited me on a cruise from Athens to Dubrovnik along with three other lovely bloggers, allowing me to sample a slice of cruise life for the very first time! The actual cruise ship was sailing all the way to Venice, but we disembarked a couple of stops early, missing Hvar and Venice. While on some cruise liners you may have to pay extra for things like alcoholic beverages, on Silversea Cruises everything is all-inclusive. This meant I was able to order as many cocktails as I wanted by the pool and order whatever I liked at meal times without having to worry about how much things cost or settling a tab at the end of the cruise. Want to order a bottle of Bombay Sapphire to your room? No problem. Thinking about ordering a filet mignon by the swimming pool?

Earlier on this year I set sail on my first ever cruise and loved it. I was totally converted to the world of cruising and life on board a ship so I was itching to experience more. Silversea are leaders in luxury cruising that really go the extra mile in every aspect of their voyages. Champagne flutes at the ready! I give you a full room tour in my vlog down below but my suite was quite simply astonishing in size. We stayed in a Silver Spirit Veranda Suite with a queen size bed, 8 item pillow menu, fully stocked mini bar, double monsoon shower, full size bath, walk in wardrobe and a lovely veranda to sit and watch the waves. Everything you could possibly want or need was in this room and I have to say I slept like a log every single night wrapped up in my Pratesi luxury bed linen and several choices of pillow — try the body pillow, oh my goodness, heaven. The decor was more traditional luxury than boutique but the quality of everything on board from the marble bathrooms to our teak wood verandas was second to none and the maid service left my suite spotless every time. My bulter Riju was just a button press away and always there to help with anything I needed. Beautiful Bvlgari products in the bathroom , full size bottles of spirits for my mini bar, 24 hour incredible room service and loads of up-to-date movies to snuggle up with in bed.

The all-suite Silver Spirit made a splashy entry into the luxury cruise world when Silversea introduced the vessel as its flagship back in However, when Silversea introduced Silver Muse as its newest flagship in , the Muse won greater praise from critics and passengers for its larger size, better suite layout, greater choice of amenities and chic modern style. For the refurbishment, the ship was cut in half, and a foot-long prebuilt midsection was inserted. The ship benefits from its greater length with a larger pool, additional outdoor space and seating by the pool and on the sun deck, and an increase of suites from to Silver Spirit also elevated its dining experiences to echo Silver Muse. The ship scrapped its one primary restaurant for four new dining choices: Atlantide, Indochine, Spaccanapoli and Silver Note. Dining opportunities now total eight. In every dining venue, new and old, the quality of cuisine -- from ingredients to preparation -- soared dramatically in mid You'll find many lounges onboard -- from Decks 5 to 11 -- including the newest additions, Dolce Vita and Arts Cafe.

Our suite was a nice size and nice balcony. Service was top Pros: Beautiful, spacious new ship. Next day came and we took a private transfer to the ship.
