I loved that series, and comparing my thoughts with Renaldo and Jayton makes me feel like Ms. Strong and Gosling have what could be described as a blissful encounter, full of comfort and love, while Kate McKinnon got… something else. I got the something else, in this case. They were those shoes. Now, after running a few miles in these babies, I can literally feel the running prestige of Skechers flowing up my legs.

The Go Run Ride 10 also features Skechers' "MStrike" technology, which refers to a the rearfoot and forefoot rocker design of the sole. Unlike many high stack height shoes, the Go Run Ride 10 retains some ground feel, likely due to the flex grooves in the outsole. The mesh upper is extremely comfortable and accommodating and the Goodyear Rubber outsole provides excellent traction and durability. The upper and fit runs a little long which does seem to make security a little off when running in on off road conditions, but the Goodyear outsole seems to help with balancing this out.

What is new in version 10 is the shoe's Arch Fit insole system and podiatrist-designed shape, which work together to deliver improved foot and arch support in a more comfortable overall package. Even better, the engineered mesh material feels light and breathable, keeping the Ride 10's weight to a minimum while providing comfort that can go the distance in warmer running conditions. From the outsole to the upper, the Skechers GOrun Ride 10 performed very well, delighting our testers out on the roads. The Ride 10 is not as responsive as an uptempo trainer, but it certainly is not too far behind, and compared to other models in its category, it is a class above. The Goodyear Performance outsole wasn't anything flashy, but it did its job run after run, providing sufficient traction on various road surfaces and offering the durability expected from a daily trainer. Unfortunately, the new upper and fit still need some work, and though this update is more comfortable than the Skechers Ride 9, the RW testers needed to make some adjustments to get an ideal lockdown in version

Skechers also gets top marks for its HyperBurst foam. With its high energy return and overall springiness, the new Skechers Ride feels almost like a toned-down super shoe. Enter Your Email Required. The outsole is a little thicker on the Ride compared to some other Skechers shoes, and the Ride should be comparable to most daily trainers in regards to durability. The shoe has a very small heel bevel that seems to work decent enough. Dislikes Heel fit does not feel secure with normal lacing Aesthetic. I actually found the GR9 firm, but not in a harsh way. The Ride 10 is better suited for slower and recovery days while the Razor Excess 2, with a forefoot plate, can pick up the pace for tempo and interval training. The Excess is definitely lighter, more responsive and stiffer Due to a carbon H-Plate , with the Ride being more softer and laid-back, so deciding between the choice will be based solely on reference and what type of runs they will be used for. The overall stability of the shoe would be significantly better if the upper was refined in volume and more reinforced.
