Double-click on it and it should install into the default location. You can change the installation path if you need to. The version of SKSE has been updated and the version number is now higher. You have to use the most recent version. But if you use the self-installer, it should install to the correct place. Also BOSS has been superseded by a new utility. I have not played Skrim since about February, , so you'd be better of going to the Nexus forums. But many of the best mods or certainly the larger and more complex mods require SKSE, the Skyrim Script Extender, so better use can be made of Papyrus. But many people say it is complex to install. Totally recommended. SkyUI changes the interface to be so much more PC-friendly - unless you have a controller and can make the default interface work. Thinking of getting back into Skyrim and currently researching which mods to use via the Nexus, so this post was perfect timing. Thank you.
