The Smeltery is a Multiblock structure added by Tinkers' Construct used to smelt ores to double ingots and craft metal parts for tools smeltery minecraft weapons, smeltery minecraft. It is also used to create Casts similar to Patterns for making these parts.
To make two stacks of Grout, grab a stack of Clay, Sand, and Gravel. To obtain Seared Brick, smelt the Grout. Place Faucets on the drains with the hole pointing outwards. To make a smelter, you will first need its predecessor, The Melter. It acts as a 1-block compact version of the smeltery, and can be powered by a heater or a seared tank. Both the Melter and the Smeltery are much more efficient at melting down ores and armor, yielding more metal than furnaces would.

The mod allows you to modify and repair tools without anvils or iron, but it also adds a ton of new tools and weapons. It also introduces the Smeltery, which allows you to melt Obsidian , Metal, Ingots, Oreberry, Gravel Ore, and Ore into liquids, and pour those into casts afterward.
