SonoTone Strings. Got an email from them this week promoting their strings. Very pretty site but nothing but marketing BS, no real info on cores, tensions, or wrap metal blends. Pretty pricey leap without more info. Anyone have knowledge or experience? My fallback standard strings lately have been a custom higher gauge Newtone Masterclass PBs. The Sono strings sound equal to or better immediately and have a very comfortable feel. I'm most surprised by their volume. I also found the second set I bought on Amazon Prime and avoided the shipping and tax the Sono website charges. The only unknown at the moment is their longevity but for now they're my current favorites. Beside preferring the tone, they feel great, even better than the other round cores. SonoTones use hex cores.
