User asked a question. Normally, if I turned on another device using its remote, the TV and soundbar would turn on as well, and the TV would switch to the proper input. I've never even noticed the Bravia Sync settings since everything just worked when they were plugged in. Now that nothing works anymore, I've checked the Bravia Sync settings and nothing shows in the list of connected devices no matter what troubleshooting steps I take, short of resetting the TV to factory settings, which I feel would be an absolute last resort, although I've read that even this didn't help with someone with a similar issue. Any suggestions? As I said, I've already tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps I've found on the Sony site, including disconnecting all devices, unplugging the tv for 2 minutes, then plugging it back in and reconnecting the devices one by one, but still nothing shows in the list and there is no control of or with the devices. They all work fine with picture and sound from the soundbar, but I can't control the volume with anything other than the soundbar remote.

New owner of Sonos Beam Gen 2 and loving it. However I have a small problem and would like suggestions on the best way to solve it. And, all works just fine. My problem is that selecting eARC for an output on the TV negates the digial toslink output on the TV meaning I now have no where to connect my headphones. So what is the solution, without costing an arm and a leg. Looked at the Orei HDA but that does not output via the digital or analog outputs with passthrough selected. If only it was this easy! That option is greyed out, which is a real shame as your suggestions would have worked and easily solved my problem. You should not need to have to unplug the HDMI lead to achieve the aim here. I think your suggestion to contact Sony is not a bad one, so I will go down that path and see if it returns anything. I personally would not be happy having to regularly remove the HDMI cable from the TV, just to use the headphone port - I still think there must be a simple answer to this. Got onto Sony Support via Chat and here is an extract I received after quite sometime with them trying to get the point across. However, as you have said that when those two are on, the light is not showing in your digital output port, we will have to review a video so that we can check this concern. So I have provided a video to them showing to issue, but all Level 2 techs are not available to review it until next week.

If I run directly into the oled it seems relatively ok but still not as good as game mode.

Why they all are similar and a lot of functions work, some combination of equipment just doesn't and there's nothing you can do about it. This MUST be a software issue, since it just stopped working overnight, then randomly started working again for a couple days, then stopped again and hasn't worked since.

But Digital Output still deactivated. When I go into the Bravia Sync device list - all my connected devices are listed as connected to HDMI 4, even though nothing is going in to that input!
