Sophies universe part 7

Well I have finally got round to taking some pictures of the small single colour Sophie I made recently. This is intended for a baby due this month and I hope will be used as a pram blanket, sophies universe part 7. I am really pleased with how it turned out.

I had to have a go myself as soon as I saw it. You can read about my Sophie here. I never did do that follow up post! So when I heard that Dedri was turning the pattern into a book, I had to have a look so I arranged for one to come here to me and boy is it good! The first thing I noticed was the weight of it!

I got through round 12 today. It is bigger than I expected it to be at this point. I have just finished round 37 which is popcorn separated by chain 2 spaces. The Mandala is complete. It measures about 10cm 4 in bigger than it should at this point -- I really crochet loosely. If I want to give her the blanket in person for her birthday in early December, I really need to finish her blanket by mid-November. I am almost done with the baby blanket size square blanket, I am on round 59 of 61 and I will add a picture tomorrow when I am done with that. Michele E. Good Morning! At the end of part 3, you will have a beautifully bright Mandala. This Mandala has its own Ravelry Page , so feel free to add your projects there as well.
