The 4DX format is supposed to enhance your viewing experience by introducing you to movements that the character is experiencing in the film. This includes seat tilting, water getting sprayed in your face we turned that part off , and a seat that practically punches your back when the characters on-screen begin to enter a fight scene. Instead, for us, it kept taking us out of the story and reminding us we were in chairs in a theater due to all the distracting features. Of course, I had my doubts about the movie when it came to the animation but like anything else, I reserved my judgment until I saw the final SpiderVerse product. The trailer showed promise and looked to be a fun spider-man movie about Miles Morale, one of my favorite Spider-men! Then they added Spider-Gwen, another one of my favorite and I knew I had to see it. I can confidently say that after watching Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 4DX, this movie is simply the best animated super-hero movie of ! This movie had that Spider-man heart and soul! Watching Miles Morale go through his journey was amazing. The pacing of the movie was very well handled and the narrative really delivered a strong message. It had great humor and jokes that legit had me laughing out loud. The movie just had this positive vibe to it that made me happy to sit through it all.
