Hello friends! I absolutely love the red, white and blue colors. First up is this really cute mouse waving his flag with a fun patriotic theme…which is what this new stamp set from Inky Stamper called Americana was intended for. I printed out some freebie papers and used them on all of my cards here today. I colored Ralph up with Copics and popped him up on a scallop circle silver glitter cardstock and stamped the sentiments and stars with red and blue inks. I also added one of the flags from the sequins mix next to the sentiment at the top. For this card, I wanted to share that a teeny tiny image from a stamp set can be fun to use in a different way as well. The tiny red stars came from that sequins mix I mentioned above. I made this card based on a sketch for a challenge that I wanted to enter before it ended too. Check it out in the challenges listed below.

I think it showed up so pretty over the black cardstock. Welcome to September!

Oct 04, 23 am. The first one comes from a challenge that I wanted to enter along with breaking out a new stamp set, but excited about using an older embossing folder and some paper that has been in my stash for far too long:. I also took a sentiment strip from the SSS Gnome School Sentiment Strips to place over the design while arranging the images over the scene. Sign me up. Sometimes I think where did the week go and other times, it seems forever before we get to the weekend! This card was so much fun to create! Six months have passed and I can finally share the second lot of projects that I designed for The Dirty Dozen on Splitcoast Stampers, here on my blog. The scallop tag behind it was cut with the paper and die from the kit. They certainly have my creative heart forever. I have something fun to share with you!!! Thank you so much for stopping through my blog and having a look! Hello again today my friends! I stamped a few stars directly on the circle area and then erased the line before I colored them. News from the Splitcoast team. I know you had gotten used to seeing lots of you really enjoyed looking at them each week too!

Yesterday we posted a new tutorial and a new Product Focus on Splitcoaststampers. The tutorial was a basic one on Inking with Markers.

So, I was able to send off a batch of cards for that this past week too. I took some random sequins to attach over the design. The Splitcoast team comes to the community with some news and some hard changes today, as well as an appeal for your help. I had received my Pink and Main Crafty Courtyard Card Kit and really loved the happy colors and pretty blooms in the stamp set and so I started out using the stencil with rainbow order inks for the background! Not realizing what the challenge would be for THIS month, it would actually fit in with that too! Subscribe Subscribed. I cut out the panel with a stitched rectangle and then cut out an additional piece of Potion Cardstock with a stitched scallop rectangle die from MFT.
