The long awaited 41st Season of Survivor is officially over. The winner of the season ultimately has broken new ground for the show and adds an interesting first to the long and illustrious line of winners the show boasts. Spoiler alert before reading any further. The name of the winner of Survivor 41, as well as other spoilers from the season will be in the following paragraphs. Erika Casupanan was the nearly unanimous winner of the 41st Season of Survivor. Beating out runners-up DeShawn and Xander, who got 1 and 0 votes respectively. On top of that, she also has set multiple firsts amongst Survivor winners that she and she alone can claim for the time being. Erika is the first Filipino winner in the history of the show. Her victory marks the third time ever that a woman of color has placed 1st in the show. Overall that gives Erika plenty of accolades, in addition to the already impressive accolade of becoming the Sole Survivor.
