It is a pool with a brown shed, red chairs, and blue water. It has gray outsides made out of bricks with torches outside of it. It also has a tub on top with a waterfall. Squidward lays face down in the pool and starts to recall the events that led to this moment. SpongeBob is digging a hole in his backyard, which disturbs his relaxation. He tells Squidward about the pool he is building and invites him to swim when it is finished. Squidward scoffs at the idea and goes back to relaxing. The pool is finished shortly after, with it being well-built. Squidward suddenly becomes jealous as SpongeBob and Patrick get in the pool. Squidward makes every attempt to keep the pool out of his mind, but none of the distractions work. He sneaks out and notices that SpongeBob is going to bed, giving him the opportunity to swim in peace. He gets into a pool float and dreams of playing his clarinet for a crowd of party guests surrounding the pool. He eventually wakes up and realizes that he spent the entire night in the pool.

In this short, SpongeBob learns about global warming. In the beginning of the short, SpongeBob is on his way to work when he spots a large factory pipe mounted on the Krusty Krab 's roof. Inside is a parked boat pumping carbon dioxide up into the pipe and out into the atmosphere. Krabs explains to SpongeBob that he is using global warming to his own advantage, creating an "Endless Summer" and allowing him to open a year-round Krusty Krab pool. However, SpongeBob has a plan to create a more effective endless summer.
