Especially when we commit ourselves to voluntary sacrifices, ones that might be difficult and challenging, we might detect in ourselves a resistance to sacrifice that makes it difficult to persevere in Lent. Our chosen disciplines of Lent can sometimes unmask a reluctance in us to make the sacrifices that the Christian life requires. The 34th Annual St. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to join in the fun. Full pancake breakfast for participants after the race! This race is the main fundraising vehicle for the St. All proceeds are used to support local families and charities in need and to fund scholarships for college-bound Raynham students.
