State of decay 2 map
Helas I'm new to the game and don't know which map to play, so I would like to know from you what your favorite map is? My favourite maps are cascade hills and drucker county. They both got awesome large base with great option of customization cascade with the container fort and drucker with baricaded mall and loot hub locations. If you're new i would suggest you try providence ridge first as it was intended as go to map after tutorial. The best place is right where you start. Explore the immediate area around your base to loot everything. Any map is fine to start. Meagher Valley is my least favorite but it might be more friendly to a new player because you don't know any of the off road shortcuts and MV does not have many obstacles to driving compared to the other maps. Build your workshop and infirmary first. Okay great and thx for your tipps. Cascade Hills is probably the best map currently with its new Landmark Outpost.
Punch two: the build-ins are pretty terrible - the Kitchen what is this game's obsession with free Kitchens? Camp Osprey is a decent level that just about serves its purpose and has a great sense of atmosphere due to the placement of the sun and the area's makeshift buildings. I've only played valley too and I love the container yard though meds get annoyingly hard to state of decay 2 map up with pretty fast.
In the previous two tip sections, we talked about the who "Character Development" and the What "Facilities and Outposts". Now, it's time for the "Where" i. When starting your campaign, you get to choose from one of five maps or just let the AI decide for you via random selection. One of these maps, Trumbull Valley, is a hybrid map that has a fixed story built in along with the usually randomized campaign quests. Because of this, and because the Trumbull Valley questlines come "later" in the SoD2 timeline than Heartland does, I would recommend avoiding this map until you've played the game somewhat and played through Heartland at least once. For completeness, however, I'll include it in the list below. Providence Ridge -- This is the first of the two DLC maps released after the initial game launch, and on this map you can really tell that Undead Labs learned from the maps it had released beforehand.
Undead Labs' State of Decay 2 mostly sticks to the same formula as its predecessor, delivering an open-world survival game with a heavy focus on scavenging and resource management. While there are some quests to play through, the story takes a back seat to exploration, base building, and crafting a safe haven to stave off the wandering zombies. This makes State of Decay 2 maps very important. Players take charge of randomly generated characters with their own traits , strengths, and weaknesses; in fact, while the zombies are nothing to scoff at, fostering a sustainable community of survivors is often the game's greatest challenge. For the most part, the sequel plays like a slightly more polished version of 's State of Decay, but you are given the pick of multiple maps rather than just one. Including the tutorial and the DLC packages, State of Decay 2 has six separate maps that are just waiting to be traversed.

So you want to build the best home base in State of Decay 2? Sure you do! The best incentive for building up a home base is making it so that your community is as sufficient as possible. Yes, you'll want facilities where you can craft and upgrade better items, but ultimately you'll want to make it so that you don't have to worry too much about constantly bringing back resources. Use the guide below to learn a little bit about what the seven bases on each map in State of Decay 2 has to offer. When you first start State of Decay 2 you're asked to choose one of three locations for your base at the end of the tutorial: The Foothills, Plateau, or Valley.

It also features some stellar and well-placed bases, particularly the quite large Barricaded Strip Mall and the visually pleasing Knights Family Drive-In. The map itself forms a rough X shape with a centre to west road added in for convenience , with a town in the middle crossroad section. The best place is right where you start. Wondering 2 things: 1. Wolfwood 5 years ago 12 demonfire posted The Drive-In Theatre is by far, the best built-in facility of the game, bar none. An additional two small slots gets you the basic setup for Garden and Workshop. RELATED: Best Zombie Games From The Last Decade Players take charge of randomly generated characters with their own traits , strengths, and weaknesses; in fact, while the zombies are nothing to scoff at, fostering a sustainable community of survivors is often the game's greatest challenge. It gives you four small slots, but given its lack of beds, one slot will probably be taken up by sheltered beds, so you get basically the same flexibility as the Justineau house aka garden, infirmary, workshop. It's one feature is the Belltower, which serves as a watchtower always good that allows you to raise threat level and draw in zombies by ringing the bell. Church on the Hill Mid-Game -- The first of your two mid-map, mid-game choices, the Church on the Hill is slightly less conveniently located than the Corner Office, as it's up on the eponymous hill, making parking there a bit of a chore. Therein, why bother moving here?
Ranking bases in State of Decay 2 is not an easy task as each map in the game has unique demands on strategies that you need to adjust with. Did you make up your mind yet on choosing your new base? Or did you already pick one and feel unsure about your decision?
Though I still have a soft spot for Drucker County. Then have some great build-ins too! Providence wasn't bad, spent a lot of time on it so must have liked it. Between this and WBS, Rosie's has more character to it, so weigh that into your choice on which to settle. The Corner Office is also decent, if you want something right smack dab in the middle of the map. Honestly, I'd be better off just saving my influence and staying at Mike's Concrete if I wanted to stay in Drucker County. Because of this, it's important to understand the new way the plague works. Unless you have a specific setup that requires 3 non-barracks large facilities, Whitney Field definitely loses to the Container Fort outright. I also didn't realize built-in Outside Beds could always be destroyed and replaced. The dual Watchtowers are also nice for an early game base make sure to arm you survivors with guns , though I have noticed a tendency for these watchtowers to "miss" incoming zombies, especially if they come from below the base.
Has understood not all.
Rather amusing answer
It is a pity, that now I can not express - there is no free time. But I will be released - I will necessarily write that I think on this question.
