The big standout performer in this package set is the driver. It felt and performed like one of the premium models. The latest and greatest club technology is just too complicated today for many average and new golfers, and too expensive. I strongly recommend these clubs for anyone upgrading there set. I bought these clubs to replace my first set of clubs I got off Craigslist. They have performed great and the height customization is extremely helpful. Thank you Stix.

The first club I pulled on the practice green before my initial round with Stix was their degree wedge. First hole? Hit a driver dead center of the fairway. I hit one more to see if it was a fluke. It landed 5 feet from the first one. The question is, was this initial experience with Stix golf clubs a fluke? Or are the clubs actually that good? North Coast for gloves. Vice for golf balls. Sunday Golf for bags. And perhaps most interesting of all? Stix for golf clubs. Anyone that can pull that off is going to do very well. Stix set out to fill that market.
For the price, this is an unbelievable set.

The ball flight from the STIX golf clubs was pretty low, a penetrating ball flight for sure. Love the putter; irons play well and definitely see improvement in my drive distance. Traditionally you might go into a club fitter and test out a bunch of clubs to see what the right clubs are for you. The set comes with a 3-wood and a 5-wood. Feedback on the wedges is a little more stark — mishits get noticeably firmer. It was a bummer, but golf is expensive — and not exactly accessible in NYC for someone without a car. Its legs pop out swiftly and provide a strong base. Again, out of wet conditions, and when you are trying to spin one back, you will struggle a bit. If you're a new golfer up to a mid-handicap - you should absolutely consider Stix for you next set of clubs. Also like the driver, they sit shut at address. The fairway woods are average in size, symmetrical, round, and have medium depth faces. Stix Golf offers their clubs in a number of different combinations. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Not all pitching wedges or iron lofts are the same. The loft of the 7 iron on the STIX is 28 degrees compared to the 30 on my 7 iron, so that makes sense. Learn how your comment data is processed. Will Porter. Beau on November 3, am. How useful was this post? The good news is that they have been updated since this initial review. For some reason I'm pitching a lot better with this Stix iron. I decided to get this starter set to get back in it. Again, they look fantastic. My first time using them I struggled at first as I was not use to how light these clubs are. The STIX golf clubs are a really good option for golfers wanting an all in one package set. I holed out a yard chip. Leave a Comment Cancel Your email address will not be published.
