Strictly Come Dancing is a British dance contest show in which celebrities partner with professional dancers to compete in mainly ballroom and Latin dance. Each couple is scored by a panel of judges. As a result, Tess Daly took over as main presenter, and Claudia Winkleman took over Daly's normal role. The couples dance each week in a live show. The judges score each performance out of ten. Anton Du Beke , who served as a guest judge in the previous series , joined the panel in place of Bruno Tonioli , who did not return for the second year in a row due to travel restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic.
