I have been looking here and elsewhere on the web, but not finding the right info. I probed pins 1, 2, 3 on the vehicle side connector GND on the shroud contact, RED into the female pin holes , and I did not get any signal change while my wife switched into reverse. I didn't really get any voltage on any of the pins either, I got about mV on one pin, but it wasn't stable and slowly dropped to nothing. Since I didn't read any voltage on the vehicle connector, I assume that there is a problem upstream from the camera, but I can't find info on where the other connectors are to check them, or what else might be the problem.
