Darkshine is an extremely tall and muscular black skinned man. Similar to Saitama , he is bald. He has thick eyebrows and big lips. He is always seen shirtless most of the time, only wearing a black speedo. Whenever Darkshine starts flexing his muscles, they seem to glow with a bright light. However, as a child, Darkshine used to be the complete opposite of what he is now. He was a short, fragile and thin looking child. Despite his appearance, Darkshine is actually a calm and sensible that hates battles. He deeply cares about his other fellow heroes and treats them with respects and politeness. He is also a self absorbed person, as when he was with the other heroes, he often was curious if the other heroes were admiring his muscles. In battles, he will often make a blank expression to tell the enemy he doesn't affect him, which is similar to Saitama. However, when he faces a much bigger threat, he will make a much more serious and even enraged expression.

After the battle against the Monster Association , Darkshine loses all his confidence as a hero. He consequently quits the Hero Association and joins the Neo Heroes to work as a training instructor and sparring partner. Superalloy Darkshine is a very tall, bulky, and muscular man. His skin has a dark complexion and gives off a lustrous shine. His head is bald, and he has full lips, dark eyes, and thick eyebrows.

He used to be physically weak and lacked confidence during his childhood until he received 3 kg dumbbells on his 15th birthday, which motivated him to train. Years later, he became extremely strong and successful, being able to lift 2 tons with one hand. He entered Hero Association and started as a C-Class hero, rank the lowest rank until he was moved up when the S-Class was formed. He once sparred against Bang and lost. Darkshine's seemingly indestructible durability has its limits, which is seen after Garou nears the completion of his evolution and fully transforms to physically harm the hero and incapacitate many other of the S-Class heroes.
