Supernatural season 13 recap
Hi, everyone! If you do want to reread recaps, I have you covered there too. Also, yes. Dean spends season 13 in a very dark place. Dean manages to shake off most of the depression when Cas returns following his resurrection via Jack and Empty-annoyance. In fact, he does actually kill himself in season 13, under the guise of a hunt that requires him to go behind the veil. It is worth noting that, while Dean does not die permanently at that time, Billie does warn him that she will see him again soon. He even bonds with the recently resurrected and partially reformed Ketch. Dean is initially slow to accept Jack, whom he initially sees as monstrous devil-spawn. Dean has started to be more obvious about his actual desires. He has continued to let his mask slide, and that will probably continue into next season. While this did work—Dean-as-Michael2 does succeed in killing Lucifer, apparently permanently— Michael2 takes control of Dean and disappears , leaving Sam, Jack, and Cas in horror. At the start of the season, it seems like Sam is far more mentally healthy than Dean. While Dean drowns in despair after losing Cas and, to a lesser degree, Mary and Crowley , Sam does his best to keep Dean together by offering distractions and trying to provide the things he assumed Dean wanted.
Archived from the original on March 3, Jack is too awesome to get tricked by Zachariah, though.
