Suggested by DranDivine , January 20, Those orbital supply drop events on extinction would have been very good if it wasn't for the eternity at the end of almost any round where you can do nothing because the remaining enemies got stuck somewhere or is attacking other wild creatures. I seriously waited around doing basically nothing for a solid 5 minutes on my last drop at the end of a round because of this issue. It's boring as all hell. So what can be done? First of all, make sure you spawn the corrupted creatures in a place where they can reach the drop on food except if they are a flyer. I have seen several corrupt creatures trying to run in a straight line towards the drop and then end up falling into a hole or ravine and get stuck. Then maybe those creatures shouldn't spawn on the opposite side of that ravine or hole? Or maybe add some proper pathfinding that they actually would follow to get to the drop rather. Or even move the orbital drops around a bit so there is a minimal chance of these kinds to things happening. And that is not the only issue with the event when it comes to the corrupt creatures. They also sometimes start attacking wild dinos and never comes to the drop, and since there are so many corrupt creatures everywhere, it's hard to guess if a creature is actually part of the event or if it's a naturally spawned one. I think creatures spawned by the events should ignore other wild creatures unless they are being attacked and have them prioritize the event and the drop.

And that is not the only issue with the event when it comes to the corrupt creatures. Hide The item entry "Hide" contains at least 40 and at most 80 of the following items. Current Wiki.

A Beacon in ARK: Survival Evolved is a colored beam of light which marks the location of a supply crate that slowly descends from the sky. The color of the beacon indicates the level required to access the contents of the crate, as well as the quality of its contents. Each crate contains an apparently random selection of offerings such as raw resources, weapons, building components, or blueprints , with higher-level beacons generally containing more valuable blueprints and loot. Beacons and their associated supply crates look alien in nature, with weird flashing light around the outside, and their source is unknown. Beacons are one of the ways to get higher-level items and blueprints, such as Ramshackle, Apprentice, Journeyman, Mastercraft and Ascendant level items. In the sea, special Deep Sea Loot Crates can be found which contain only one high quality item.

This map, set on Ravaged Earth rather than an ARK up in space, forces players to survive an Earth unfamiliar to us: one of strange features and stranger creatures. In the center of the map lies an abandoned city, usually referred to as the Great City or Sanctuary. It is the remains of some great technologically advanced civilization, the same one that built the ARKs. Outside of the city borders, pockets of life can be hard to find among the corrupted wasteland. They are still there, however, in the protective borders of the Proto-ARKs. To the southeast, the desert Proto-ARK exists.
