At least The Miz found time to cut a promo in his car, Seth.
For some wrestling fans, star ratings are a way of life. The star rating system is a scale ranging from 0 to 5 with increments of 0. A 5-star match is as close to perfect as it gets while a 0-star match is a complete dud. Determining the star rating for a given match is a highly subjective process. In general the goal is to wrap up all the important elements of a match into one simple number.

Survivor Series is traditionally one of WWE's "big four" pay-per-view extravaganzas, playing host to several marquee matches with wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer picking out the best of the bunch. Since its inception in , Survivor Series has been a permanent fixture on WWE's pay-per-view calendar. The sparkle of Survivor Series may have waned over the years with a heavy emphasis on matches between Raw and SmackDown. Nevertheless, Survivor Series is unique as it has played host to some exceptional traditional Survivor Series elimination matches. There have been controversial moments at Survivor Series over the years but wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has critically analyzed the best matches at the event, and he does not hesitate to give credit to a match that he sees as worthy of a high rating. Walter didn't last long as he was eliminated by McIntyre. The action was fast and furious, and Keith Lee captivated the audience with his superb outing. Ultimately, Reigns picked up the win for Team SmackDown with a spear on Lee in a match that should have closed out the show. Rousey and Charlotte tore the house down in a physical match that lived up to its expectations. The Queen caused Rousey to bleed from the mouth as she viciously elbowed her jaw. Counters and near falls kept fans on the edge of their seats but Charlotte attacked the Raw Women's Champion with a kendo stick in the sternum to get herself disqualified. This turned out better than fans expected it to be. Breezango and The New Day were eliminated within the first two minutes of the bout. However, the final five minutes saw The Usos and The Bar tear it up with Cesaro applying the Sharpshooter on Jey with Jey submitting and The Bar earning the significant win for their brand.
Cole asked Graves whether he was pro-Raw or pro-Smackdown. The show was terrible.
Lesnar to Charlotte vs. Rousey to Raw vs. Smackdown to Seth vs. The Smackdown women came out one at a time. Then the Raw women made their ring entrances one at a time.
In the shadow of a WarGames match commendable in effort—too commendable, really—this short, 12 minute gem told a very simple and very effective story in contrast: Buddy Murphy is a ruthless powerhouse, and Mustafa Ali is a never-say-die lunatic willing to absorb vicious, dangerous punishment as an equaliser. Within that basic framework, genuine creativity flourished: Ali, after nailing a lush dropkick, flattened Murphy with a somersault senton. Patrolling the match with a smug expression on his face, Murphy massaged a cold crowd into a heated reaction—which intensified as he delivered a massive plancha. Again, this effectively rallied the crowd. Whether they actually commit to the relationship is a question mark, but this was an eye-catching showcase for the division that surely demands—deserves—further exposure on the pay-per-view stage. This match was actually pretty impressive to me, and probably would have been better if they had just done The New Day and The Usos vs. There was a few sloppy bits down the stretch, but I was surprisingly not bored with it. Solid start. I actually thought it was genius to capitalize off of her heat and have her win the match, even though she does suck so bad. Overall, the match was pretty solid, but nothing really special. I think it can do Nia a lot of good if she embraced being a dirtbag heel instead of switching between good and evil every other month. Solid, if not unspectacular match to begin the show. One of the benefits of this Survivor Series format is that we get to see matches such as this one that we would never otherwise see. The reason why I picked Seth to win the match was because I never thought Ambrose would actually come out. I especially liked the sequence where Rollins was going for a clothesline and it turned into a pretty looking triangle choke.
