Influence is still dependent on them liking or disliking your actions, but as previously stated it is no longer necessary to have achieved a certain Influence level to unlock companion conversations. Is there a list of companions who give you quests? If so, could someone direct me to it? And if not, post the ones you know here:. I never finished them because I rushed onto my BH after finishing my trooper. Rule of thumb, your first companion is the one that gives actual go-out-and-do-things quests. The rest all just go on their own, fade to black, then return and talk about it. Other companions regularly leave the ship in the form of a fade-to-black and then come back to report on what they did. You never accompany them for these quests - I imagine development resource limitations necessitated this. I have a very faint hope those will be added in the promised companion-centric patch, I would love to go with all of them - it's such a brilliant opportunity for some quality roleplaying later on, not just sitting back on my ship thinking how it goes. CrazyCT Posted December 27, Basically, every fade-to-black companion conversation scene was originally meant to be an actual mission to play, but the missions were lower priority, that's why they weren't done when they got the new deadline and then they were some of the first things they scrapped.

His conversations max out long before 9K affection, but that's probably because he's the last companion Troopers pick up. They're gated by class act and, in a few cases, by specific class events within an act. Most companions can be maxed out once you start Act 3. Khem Val, Kira Carsen, and perhaps some others need plot triggers in Act 3 or after the class storyline ends to complete their lines. There are a very very samll number of companions that you can complete the conversations with while in Chapter 2. Note: I didn't romance either Kaliyo or Corso so it is possible that romances get some extra dialogue that require you to be in Chapter 3.
