This is a true multidisciplinary program that will provide the fellow with broad-based experience in the management and treatment of acute and chronic pain. The fellow will become well-versed in the medical, behavioral, rehabilitative, and interventional aspects of pain management. The fellow will be well-trained in most of the common interventional procedures, including cervical and lumbar ESI, nerve blocks, facet blocks, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulation. The fellow will work with anesthesiologists, neurologists, physiatrists, psychologists, and therapists to gain expertise from the various disciplines. The training experiences are based on direct involvement in patient care under direct faculty supervision and instruction.
