User Name Remember Me? Takamine where do they rank? I see a lot of people play them. I have never played one. Are they as well built as the major brands? I was thinking of getting one but want to hear from those that have played them. Takamine would not come close to almost any guitar in your sig As an acoustic electric they've been a guitar of choice for professionals for many years. I think this is primarily for their amplified sound, although fit and finish on them are excellent. When one brand is that popular in professional circles I think the due diligence has been complete.
