My step-dad bought this turntable new around He technics sl 220 it through a Pioneer SX into Technics speakers of some higher quality vintage. I played all my albums on it and many of his and they sounded amazing. I also recorded mix tapes cassette and 8-track from my albums for use in the car.

Love the tonearm on it, and I've thought of having a custom hardwood plinth made to customize it. When I changed the stylus, put a new belt, it sounded amazing. I took it apart to clean the pots, remove old grease, and just look everything over. Great simple TT. Ive owned many different turntables since and one of my best was a Pioneer PL It has NEVER had an issue, other than a belt replacement, and light lubrication to the spindle and motor.
