The Astrophysics programme is dedicated to unraveling the history of the universe.

In the reverse direction, terrestrial data is modulated into the optical domain and transmitted to the satellite using high power and accurately pointed laser beams. The key missing part is an integrated ground terminal system that brings these subsystems together. The selling price of a Laser Communication Terminal LCT and its subsystems is a key consideration in making them commercially viable. This TKI aims to end with testing on the ground.
