Tenda earthbound

After the long journey through the Deep Darkness, you find a village of small, tenda earthbound, shy people. Go south from the village entrance and check the trash can to get a Death Ray for Jeff. The Tenda Gumi are a species appearing in EarthBound. They first appear in Tenda Village. This tribe of Tenda are extremely shy and will not talk to Ness until they are given the book of overcoming shyness. After doing so, the elder will give Ness the Tendakraut as thanks. A very physically strong Tenda moves a large rock out of the way to allow Ness and his friends to proceed to Lumine Hall. The second tribe of Tenda, the lower tribe, are living in the Lost Underworld , who believe that the area outside their village is a cage containing the dinosaurs, despite the fact that the Lost Underworld actually surrounds the village. Unlike the upper ones from Tenda Village, the lower Tendas are extroverted.

The leader of the tribe knows about a book which helps overcome shyness, so Ness goes to retrieve it. Once the Tenda Village's leader reads it to the rest of the Tenda, he also gives Ness some Tendakraut as thanks for solving their shyness problem. A stronger member of the tribe also assists Ness in getting to the Lost Underworld. In the Lost Underworld is where the rest of the Tenda tribe reside. They live in an enclosed space, however one member insists that the world outside is actually a cage. In contrast to the Tenda living above, these Tenda are very social. The tribe allows Ness to enter the village after being given the Tendakraut. Here is where Ness meets the talking rock who reveals the location of the final Sanctuary.
