Okay so, I've entered hardmode and spread the Hallow over the top of my underground base. Overall it's not too bad at all, I can generally handle the mobs. What I -can't- stand, however, is the continues freakin' screeching and "shimmering" and "tinkling" from pixies scraping through my ears like nails on a chalkboard. I have two colums of dart traps on either side of my watch tower, which connects directly into my underground base via Wood Platforms. The traps have to block the sides of the watchtower, which are how I exit my base.
