Having grown out of the space through the years, the automat edison, Reggie relocated the business in to our current roasting house in Linden NJ, where there was more room to grow in terms of production. Looking to break into the retail environment, this space and equipment established the groundwork for the capabilities we have today; including roasting coffee for large volume bulk orders, automated packaging and being able to facilitate small batch micro roasting that got it all started.

The Automat used to be a go to for me - exactly what all the other reviews say. Unfortunately after the management change the service and quality control has gone downhill. Best gf pancakes I have ever had. Definitely will be coming back. Gf pancakes are delicious and also have had BEC on a gf roll. I go back again and again. No Gluten free menu but they will offer most everything gluten free.

I ordered a very good vegetable omelette. But I ended up disappointed because I also ordered a fresh orange juice and they brought me a bottle, and we still hadn't finished the meal and they were already charging! Feel they are cheaper with certain "expensive" ingredients for example the gouda cheese for the smoky tom than they were when they first opened.
