Hey folks! This guide is mostly updated now, I just need to polish the Goldor fight tips! NOTE: Apparently Square has adjusted one of the fights 8, part 2 without any obvious notice that they were doing so. Dammit Square! Not fair! This guide is intended for people looking for a basic clear of the current 32 challenges in the Masked Carnivale. It describes each fight and one reasonable strategy for clearing it. I have not included any information on how to earn the various possible achievements available through the Masked Carnivale, such as Perfect Blue, nor have I given any info on how to do the weekly bonus challenges; my intent here was to make it possible for people to get through all 32 challenges and learn all the Totem spells up to Angel Whisper. Take along some good caster food and a decent set of spells.

This guide has been written the masked carnivale Liam Galt, who created the Blue Academy Youtube channel and Discord in response to the lack of consolidated and accurate Blue Mage resources available. After that it's a simple matter of keeping ourselves healed, interrupting Caber Toss with Flying Sardineand killing the Mirrorknight. The masked carnivale

The content is arena-based, pitting you against one or multiple enemies. It is the sort of battle style that is almost like a puzzle, having to problem-solve certain fights with the many Blue Mage skills you have on hand. Of course, before digging into that content, you have to unlock the Masked Carnivale first. Luckily, that is much easier than the Masked Carnivale itself and can easily be done in just three steps. Even after unlocking it though, you may want to collect as many Blue Mage skills as possible. To become a Blue Mage, you will have to reach level 50 in a combat class and complete the main story quest, "The Ultimate Weapon. Once they are met, go to Limsa Lominsa at the Lower Decks.

Heal spells. The achievement "Octopath Traveler" is earned by completing this stage without defeating any Ultros tentacles. Then finish off the Chimera. Basically, Gogo stops all the random spell nonsense and just straight up tries to murder you. Magic Hammer is a large ground-targeted AOE that we need to step out of. He will also spawn a bunch of Beetles but these can mostly be ignored. This applies a mild DOT effect to us, so cleanse it with Exuviation. If Tikbalang is at the edge of the arena we can use Loom to get to the safe side, but the easiest solution is to just cast Diamondback.
