The Witness walkthrough is exactly what you need if you're running up against certain conundrums that you can't solve, and with over puzzles in total to get through it's likely that you'll hit the wall at some point. It's fair to say that The Witness will test and push your logical abilities to their limits, and while it's incredibly rewarding to crack the tough assignments there's nothing worse than endlessly staring down a puzzle panel when no solution is forthcoming. To beat them, you'll first have to understand their rules, which can often be inferred from the puzzles themselves or by observing the area surrounding the panels. There are also mysterious recorded messages tucked away in various places, which may or may not help explain what is going on. For every area in The Witness walkthrough we'll give you hints for how to get started, which will then lead on to full puzzle solutions for each panel if you're still struggling to crack the code. While there are well over puzzles to solve, this walkthrough will focus mainly on the ones required for you to advance through the 11 lasers and the endgame. As a result, there may be many sections not covered as well as countless puzzles and secrets that we miss. Even still, please consider going through them and really looking for it all. There is a lot to enjoy in this game outside of the "achievement areas. The final achievement relies on you understanding the game mechanics, as the puzzles are completely randomized. We have both heard stories of people using guides to get through all the other achievements and hit a wall at the end when they realized they hadn't been building the skills to complete the final test. At this point, many players have quit with just the last achievement to go.

Some color and hearing based puzzles during the game may be unable to be completed by players.
