My Hero Academia is currently in its Final War arc and it goes without saying that this is the most important part of the story. This article is about Shoto Todoroki 's older brother. He is the eldest son of the Pro Hero Endeavor , driven insane due to his neglectful and selfish actions, and becoming a villain to enact revenge. He became affiliated with the League of Villains , a former member of the organization's since disbanded Vanguard Action Squad , and later one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Dabi is a reasonably tall, pale young man of slim shape but somewhat muscular build, described as in his early twenties. He has white hair with a few red flecks at its crown that spikes upward around his head, hanging low over his eyes, which are thin, turquoise, and heavily lidded. Dabi's hair was dyed black before revealing his true identity. His most striking features are undoubtedly the patches of gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin that cover much of his lower face and neck, all the way down past his collarbone, below his eyes, around his torso, and on his arms and legs due to him losing control of his fire Quirk at age 13, engulfing him in flames.

Dabi - like fellow League members Himiko Toga and Spinner - was inspired by Stain and his ideology, and joined the League under the belief it harbors the Hero Killer's cause. Following the conflict with the Meta Liberation Army , he became one of the lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front , serving as the co-commander of the Violet Regiment. For my very first actual blog here, I'm gonna talk about one of the very famous theories in the franchise: "Is Dabi, the enigmatic villain, related to the Todoroki family? In the recent chapters, we have met one of Shouto's older brothers, Natsuo. That same brother revealed during his ranting against his father Endeavor the name of the eldest of the four Todoroki siblings, Touya. He also tell that something happened to him. We haven't seen this mysterious brother during the whole franchise except from Shouto's flashback where we can see him playing with Natsuo and Fuyumi.

Although he did not inherit a composite Quirk from his parents, Toya was born with a fire Quirk more powerful than Enji's own Hellflame , so when the time came, his father would train him. Later that year, his sister Fuyumi Todoroki was born but she only inherited her mother's Frost Quirk. From presumably quite a young age, Toya was constantly trained by his father and the young boy was actually quite eager to learn all his father's moves so that he could one day become a great hero. Although none of his children bore the ideal Quirk he was hoping for, Enji was satisfied with Toya and saw him as capable of surpassing All Might with his powerful Fire Quirk alone, so he placed all his ambitions on his shoulders. The situation changed drastically however as Toya's red hair began to turn white and his body suffered burns every time he used his Quirk. The doctor explained that while Toya had inherited a powerful fire based Quirk from his father, he also inherited his mother's resistance to freezing cold, rather than his father's resistance to scorching heat, meaning that he would burn himself whenever he used his flames. Because of this, Toya was limited in how far he could safely push himself with his Quirk. Enji deemed him a failure and suddenly stopped training him. He begged and nagged at his father to continue training him, but Enji refused, saying that it was for the sake of his well-being, but Toya wasn't pleased. Later, he talked with his sister Fuyumi and told her that he can tolerate the pain and burns, but little Fuyumi told Toya that she was also worried about him getting hurt.

My Hero Academia has finally pulled back the curtain on the mystery surrounding Dabi, the League of Villains' pyrokinetic psychopath. While revealing himself to his father and brother, Dabi also amplified the pain by broadcasting the truth of his identity out across the airwaves of the entire country. Part of that broadcast involves Dabi recounting his personal origin story to the world - and part of that story comes with the reveal of a limit to the twisted villain's fearsome power! As many My Hero Academia fans theorized, Dabi's look isn't just Goth punk masochist purely for aesthetic reasons. Toya Todoroki was Endeavor's first attempt to create a power superior to his own - one that could rival No. Toya Todoroki had a flame that was more intense than Endeavor's hence its blue color , but there was a severe drawback: the genetics of his mother Rei's ice powers made Toya's body vulnerable to being burned by his own fire. While we still don't know exactly what happened after Toya's apparent death , but we do know that by then his father had moved on to the other "experiments" of making Toya's younger siblings. Looking at Dabi now, his appearance is a tale of unimaginable suffering and tragedy. Unless his affiliation with All For One and the League of Villains allowed him to be "cured" of his weakness, then every time Dabi uses his flames it costs him horrible pain and scarring - and yet, he still uses it frivolously to murder and maim, regardless. The Todoroki Family is not a typically happy and normal family, but rather a highly troubled and dysfunctional one that was formed through personal interest rather than true love. The biggest conflict of the family originates from Enji's treatment towards the others, in particular Toya and Shoto.
