The Troodon Magnanimus is a carnivore that was seen during the late Cretaceous period that has a very aggressive behavior at night. This creature is capable of dealing torpor damage to enemies it attacks, knocking them out and keeping them paralyzed with continuous attacks. Troodon do not usually pose much of a threat during the morning and will only attack those that get to near it but when nightfall comes, it turns into a very aggressive predator. These creatures will attack humans that get within range but during the night, they will seek to attack even at further distances due to their night aggressiveness. Taming a Troodon can be a hard task but in the end, it pays off with the torpor attacks and its ability to track enemies and different types of item containers. Troodon are considered one of the smartest creatures around as they learn quickly and seem to be able to teach similar members of their pack in a way, making them altogether work efficiently as a group. Not only is the intelligence of the Troodon shown by its actions but also its skill is visible by the way it can work together with others and how it can effectively execute strategic attacks even when alone.

Build a taming pen, incubate a high level Spino or Wyvern egg to the point of hatching, throw a Troodon in the pen, wait until it turns night, hatch the egg, set the baby on neutral, throw that in the pen, throw yourself in the pen, taunt the Troodon so that it kills you, then it will kill the baby, taming it in the process. You may need more babies but make sure you have the eggs ready to be hatched during the same night time period. If you have any sanity you wont have any left after taming a troodon. I never rage quit Ark before but attempting to tame them nearly did it for me lol. For me getting the troodon to attack the baby dino was the hardest part. Sooo many things went wrong for me. I advise lots and lots of patience with this tame. Am convinced the person who came up with the taming mechanics for this is just pure evil Hhhmm that could work. I guess the hard bit is wiping the area surrounding the troodon first so that you dont agro other dinos. Pretty sure when I tamed mine, I either wasnt high enough level for the darts or they didnt exist yet and the rare flower didnt have the aggro thing yet. Most infuriating tame ever hahaha. Also, does it have to be a spino or wyvern?
